About the Job

As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with our LATAM GM on launching Xendit across Latin America. You will be part of the team that defines the best launch strategy in the region, identifying the countries, products, regulatory frameworks, competitive environments, and appropriate value propositions to ensure a successful launch of Xendit.

Additionally, your role will be multidisciplinary, where you will need to collaborate with various areas of the organization, implementing the necessary processes and tasks to ensure optimal and efficient operations.

Your role will also demand:

  • Execute high priority projects to ensure we achieve our goals
    • This role comes with great autonomy allowing you to identify problems, carry out analysis, design solutions and execute them
  • Collaborate with different teams within the company to identify, review and solve problems
    • Monitor communications with stakeholders in other Xendit offices.
    • Lead meeting preparation and debrief, creating agendas to ensure efficiency and summaries to maximize stakeholder return on time
  • Work on multiple projects in parallel that will require you to be adaptable across multiple functions
    • Some previous projects have involved: identifying new business opportunities, hiring talented people, measuring KPIs for different teams, creating SOPs to establish operations processes
    • Assist in preparation of reports, pitch decks, and presentations
    • Support execution of day-to-day operations, including but not limited to external communications, merchant operations, sales operations, financial operations, etc.
  • In other words, do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed in LATAM

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in strategy, operations, or similar roles
  • Residing in Mexico or willing to relocate to Mexico
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Prior experience supporting senior leadership (e.g. VP/Director/C-suites)
  • Experience working in fast-growing startups, scale-ups, or high-performance environments
  • Exposure to cross-functional projects spanning multiple teams or geographies
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience using Google Workspace
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Ability to effectively manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on regional scaling tech companies in B2B/B2C, SaaS, e-commerce, or payments startup environment
  • Previous exposure working in projects that involve multidisciplinary knowledge (sales, ops, finance, legal, compliance)
