As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as the PH Country Office Strategy & Execution lead. This role reports to the Xendit Philippines Country Manager and is critical in driving commercial projects that require close coordination between business and compliance functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, strategy execution, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the fintech or banking industry.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and business as usual (BAU) deliverables.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and projects.
- Master’s degree or professional certification in project management.
Responsibilities
1. Strategy Execution:
- Lead and tackle "commercial projects" that require close coordination between business and compliance functions, such as license applications, new business ventures, and experimental initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
2. Compliance Coordination:
- Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all commercial projects meet regulatory requirements and standards.
- Assist with AML BAU deliverables as needed to support business priorities and team capacity.
- Serve as a liaison between business and compliance teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
3. Project Management:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources effectively.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management.
4. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and strategy execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
