About the Job

As part of the Financial Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of funds for the countless transactions happening on the Xendit platform daily. It is a wide ranging role. For example, you will be designing processes operationally for new products, building relationships with banking partners, working with product and tech teams as we automate operations, touching base with teams in ID, SG or PH as we grow in other regions in Southeast Asia, and executing financial analysis to support business growth. In this role, some of your time will be spent on managing the team and driving efficiencies within the operations, and the rest will be spent on executing operations alongside the team. Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar course, with 4-5 years of relevant experience in a start-up/fast paced environment or within the payments, fintech, or financial services spaces
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English & Thai
  • Experience in managing a Finance / Financial Operations team of 4-6 people
  • Able to be a “player - coach”, both driving efficiency within the team and executing operations alongside them
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable dealing with large datasets and data analysis
  • Detail oriented, can see patterns in data/information or notice when something is amiss
  • Located in Bangkok, Thailand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or dealing with banks or large financial institutions
  • Experience with SQL or visualization tools (e.g. Looker)
  • You have the initiative to continually ask questions and look for answers
  • You have a discerning ability to prioritize workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
  • You are a team player and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders
  • You have great ownership mentality and have proven you can push towards a goal by yourself
  • You pick up new skills quickly using a combination of self-exploration and relationship building
  • You are detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality work

Responsibilities

Execute Xendit’s day-to-day financial operations

    • Support Xendit’s daily operations, which includes processing customer transactions, liaising with banking partners, executing bank requirements, and coordinating with internal teams for customer onboarding and product roll-outs
    • Conduct periodic reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions
    • Have the opportunity to learn how Xendit operates from the ground up and make a real impact on the future of the organization

Oversee the FinOps team’s daily operations & drive improvements where necessary

    • Oversee all FinOps Thailand operations and processes to ensure no breakdowns, liquidity issues, communication gaps etc.
    • ⁠Streamline operations and drive efficiency within the team
    • Support with integrating the team with Regional FinOps
    • ⁠⁠Own and drive FinOps metrics such as efficiency and accuracy

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

    • Solve complex problems by working across product, sales, legal and compliance teams to deliver tailored solutions for our customers

Provide commercial support to the business

    • Assist in tracking financial metrics for Xendit Thailand
    • Derive insights from transaction-related data and deliver the analysis to stakeholders
    • Build adhoc analysis as required by senior management

Onboarding new products or regions

    • Understand how our products and services work and be able to create processes to support Xendit’s expansion in Southeast Asia
