Role Overview:
Relay is seeking a visionary Director of Growth Marketing to serve as the chief architect of our demand generation engine, owning the strategic roadmap and the allocation of some of our most significant marketing investments. In this role, you will develop data-driven, full-funnel strategies that bridge the gap between initial awareness and long-term retention, transforming capital into predictable, high-velocity pipeline across our market segments. Beyond managing monthly lead volume, you will model the next two years of market dominance—optimizing for Lifetime Value (LTV) and ensuring our Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) remains a competitive advantage.
What You'll Do:
- Full-Funnel Architecture: You own the master blueprint. You will create and execute comprehensive growth strategies that span the entire customer journey—from demand generation and acquisition to activation and retention, across all performance marketing channels.
- Strategic Capital Orchestration: You are the steward of our growth investment. You determine how to deploy our budget across digital and direct-buy channels to maximize ROI and ensure we are winning in our key market segments.
- The Experimentation Engine: You will lead our culture of testing. By spearheading A/B testing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives, you will identify, test, and scale the next "big bets" that will lower acquisition costs and increase velocity.
- Analytical Command & Insight: You possess a "hunter" mentality for data. Utilizing our marketing tech stack and analytics tools, you will interpret complex user behavior to inform strategic decisions, define KPIs, and model future growth opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: You are a master collaborator. You will partner with Product, Sales, and Finance to align growth initiatives with company-wide revenue goals, ensuring the marketing engine is perfectly synced with the product roadmap and sales targets.
- Team Scaling & Mentorship: You will lead the "Growth Squad," providing strategic clarity and professional development for the Growth execution team.
What You'll Have:
- 7+ Years of Growth Leadership: Proven track record of driving full-funnel growth within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- The "Architect" DNA: You are a systems thinker who thrives on building scalable, repeatable revenue models. You have a deep understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, and Email as levers for revenue, not just traffic.
- Technical & Analytical Prowess: You are highly proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot), marketing automation, and analytics software. You have direct experience building or contributing to growth models.
- Executive Presence: You have the ability to defend budgets and strategies in the boardroom and the clarity to translate high-level business goals into actionable marketing plans.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus, but your track record of building "growth machines" is what matters most.
