We've achieved proven product-market fit with a user experience that solves real-world customer pain and unlocks new capabilities. We are expanding our Business Development team to support this growth!
This role will be based in our North Hills, Raleigh, North Carolina HQ and we work in a hybrid model with 3 days in the office, 2 days remote, and will involve 10% travel.
Job Overview:
Relay’s Channel Account Specialist will assist in exceeding expectations of our customers and channel partners from first communication to post sale that will ultimately drive more revenue within our channel motion. The ideal candidate is obsessed with customer experience, believes no detail is too small, and is excited to multitask & drive simultaneous projects.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring the success of Relay’s channel program by enabling partners through cross team collaboration with Relay stakeholders. Strong communication, planning and organizational skills will ensure the following are executed successfully. As a Channel Account Specialist, your duties will revolve around ensuring our partners and their customers have a seamless experience while interacting with multiple Relay business units. This may include coordinating sales duties, liaising with finance and billing teams, providing customer success introductions and monitoring issues brought to our technical support team. Your success will be defined by your ability to deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong cross-team collaboration. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will be key to maintaining and enhancing the overall partner experience.
What we look for:
- Experience driving multiple areas of success overseeing relationships with external and internal stakeholders in a B2B setting
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Experience with CRM Software
- Track record of relationship building and supporting multiple accounts and/or customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet the needs of specific processes related to executing channel strategy
What you will do:
- Proactively interacts with prospective channel partners through online lead intake, referrals and other external introductions.
- Conducts business development activities for distribution and channel management teams driving success in: customer satisfaction, partner enablement and marketing
- Supports Channel customer coordination between respective business units within Relay
- Proactively supports and assists in developing prospective marketing projects with partners
- Provide relevant ongoing updates to collateral , price books and marketing documents
- Develop knowledge on market trends as well as specific customer trends within partner base
- Support partners and their customers through order processing, account assignment to internal resources, billing and finance needs and technical support follow through.
- Attends trade shows relevant to channel partner growth and development

- Ability to travel to related events , trade shows and other functions supporting partner network and work autonomously
- Ability to work within ambiguity to help shape the Channel motion by identifying and creating needed processes and playbooks
Desired knowledge, skills and/or attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business- related concentration preferred
- Prior CRM Experience
- Experience managing multiple accounts and initiatives pertaining to business development
- Proven ability to work cross functionally
