Description

The Stormwater Operations Manager is an expert in training and market audits/reviews. The Stormwater Operations Manager is responsible for identifying and assisting with the analysis and optimization of designing and implementing training programs, and auditing to ensure compliance. The NStormwater Operations Manager works on ensuring Stormwater compliance quality across all markets and improving department efficiencies.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and improve standardized Stormwater training material for onboarding and Path Light Pro career path development programs.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of in-person, online, and video safety training.
  • Manage continued training program topic selection and material development.
  • Assist in the design and implementation that can be applied to any and all existing/new markets, and that will help ensure uniformity and efficiency as it pertains to: administrative procedures, site audits, client contact and communication, and equipment needs.
  • Design and conduct periodic market audits to ensure compliance with all processes and systems, and advise leadership on any/all correction actions needed.
  • Standardize and improve field/SWPPP audit procedures to improve Stormwater compliance quality and process consistency across the nation.
  • Set goals and track performance supporting audits and continued training with team at large.
  • Develop technical subject matter knowledge relative to state, local inspection, and SWPPP requirements.
  • Track team certifications to ensure all team members are operating in compliance with local codes.
  • Manage training material data base, ensuring all markets can access training material efficiently.
  • Work closely with Path Light Pro leadership to proactively identify quality concerns and provide recommended paths to resolutions and greater client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with compliance department to ensure SWPPP, permitting, and technical documentation is in compliance with state and local requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of state and local stormwater regulations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of client inspection procedures and internal audit requirements.
  • Lead and guide team in preparation for client audits.
  • Keep leadership updated on industry trends and changing regulatory requirements nationally and locally.
  • Complete monthly “Train the Trainer” program with field operations management/leadership team to ensure client quality standards are maintained.
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 2-4 years of Storm water/ Erosion control experience
  • B.S. or B.A. in Safety, Construction, or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of general construction and environmental regulations
  • Certification in OSHA 30 hour Construction Safety

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Intermediate – Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft 365)
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather
  • Strong computer, organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to walk up and down inclines and on uneven land/ground
  • Must have dependable transportation
  • Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed
Salary Description
$65-70,000
