About Passage Health

Passage Health is a fast-growing Series A startup on a mission to improve the quality and accessibility of autism care through technology. Autism diagnosis rates have surged over the past decade to 1 in 31 children, yet families still face waitlists of up to a year for care as providers—hampered by antiquated technology and manual workflows—struggle to meet surging demand.

We're building the platform that modernizes how autism care providers work—from clinical documentation to operations to billing—transforming how care is delivered and scaling access across a $460B market.

Over the past year, Passage has grown more than 3x, driven by strong customer demand and expanding partnerships across the autism care ecosystem. As we scale, we're focused on building durable foundations—the systems, processes, and decision-making needed to support long-term growth.

About the Role:

We're seeking an RCM Solutions Consultant to serve as the revenue cycle subject matter expert for Passage's software customers. In this role, you'll help customers optimize their billing operations while influencing product direction and driving RCM thought leadership.

Sitting on the Customer Success team, you'll own RCM consulting and assisted billing setup, deliver customer education programs, act as the billing escalation point of contact for CSMs and Support, and lead RCM enablement for our internal teams. You'll be the expert who elevates how both our customers and our own teams approach the revenue cycle.

This is a strategic, advisory role. You'll be the go-to authority who works directly with the Director of RCM and the Head of Customer Success to guide customers toward better billing outcomes and shape how our product and organization support revenue cycle excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • At least one year of hands-on experience in ABA therapy billing and revenue cycle operations, with command of the full revenue cycle from eligibility and authorization through claims submission, denial management, and reconciliation

  • A track record in RCM consulting, advisory, or subject-matter-expert work—someone others turn to as the definitive source on revenue cycle questions

  • Deep fluency in payer processes, claims management, and denial workflows—enough to advise on, teach, and troubleshoot them at an expert level, even though you won't be executing them day to day

  • Expertise with ABA billing software and a strong intuition for how technology can streamline revenue cycle operations

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and teaching skills, with genuine comfort leading training sessions and education programs for a range of audiences

  • Rigorous documentation and organizational skills, with a gift for turning complex processes into clear, usable guides, SOPs, and training materials

  • An analytical mindset—able to diagnose billing operations, pinpoint inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that move the needle

  • The ability to translate frontline customer needs into clear, actionable product feedback

  • The poise to manage multiple priorities and strategic projects simultaneously without losing sight of the details

  • Comfort working with operational reporting and metrics to inform recommendations and measure impact

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on revenue cycle strategy, billing operations, and best practices, leading strategic consulting engagements—including comprehensive billing audits—that identify opportunities to improve performance and recover revenue

  • Design and deliver scalable customer education programs—such as our Billing Bootcamp (a four-part training series for providers new to ABA billing)—that build customer expertise in ABA billing and revenue cycle management across the broader customer base, including customers outside your core portfolio

  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex revenue cycle questions, partnering closely with Customer Success and Support teams to resolve high-stakes billing issues

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to support customer health, provide operational reporting, and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Build and lead RCM enablement programs that strengthen the revenue cycle fluency of our internal teams

  • Develop and maintain authoritative RCM resources—including SOPs, process guides, onboarding materials, and best-practice frameworks—for both customers and internal teams

  • Translate frontline customer insights into actionable product feedback, and champion adoption of new billing features

  • Partner on RCM thought leadership and educational content that positions Passage as a category authority in autism care billing
