We are seeking a skilled Sales & Business Development Specialist to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.
Location: U.S.-based experts only

Project Summary
This project supports the development of an AI benchmarking framework designed to measure how effectively artificial intelligence models perform real-world, economically valuable knowledge work. The benchmark evaluates AI systems against tasks commonly performed by sales, account management, revenue operations, customer acquisition, partnership, and business development professionals responsible for driving growth and generating revenue.
Contributors will create expert benchmark outputs, define evaluation criteria, and assess AI-generated work products across a wide range of sales and business development scenarios. Example tasks may include account planning, prospect qualification, sales strategy development, pipeline analysis, territory planning, partnership evaluation, opportunity prioritization, customer communication, objection handling, deal review, competitive analysis, revenue forecasting, and growth planning. The goal is to establish rigorous, expert-driven standards for measuring AI performance on practical sales and business development workflows.
Consultant Engagement Terms
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).
Responsibilities
Contributors will:
- Create expert benchmark responses for sales and business development-related professional scenarios
- Develop scoring rubrics that define high-quality sales strategy, business judgment, customer engagement, and revenue-focused decision-making standards
- Evaluate AI-generated analyses, recommendations, sales plans, communications, and business development deliverables against established benchmarks
- Assess the accuracy, completeness, practicality, commercial viability, and business impact of AI-generated outputs
- Review AI-generated work involving prospecting, account management, customer acquisition, sales process execution, partnership development, pipeline management, and revenue growth initiatives
- Identify flawed assumptions, weak sales strategies, unrealistic recommendations, customer engagement risks, and material omissions
- Apply professional judgment to determine whether outputs meet real-world sales and business development standards
- Evaluate AI-generated recommendations for effectiveness across different sales motions, customer segments, and buying environments
- Provide written rationale supporting evaluation decisions and scoring outcomes
- Participate in calibration exercises and quality review activities when required

Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in sales, business development, account management, revenue operations, partnerships, customer success, or related commercial functions
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, customer acquisition strategies, account growth, and revenue generation processes
- Experience creating, reviewing, or executing sales plans, territory strategies, account strategies, partnership proposals, forecasting models, or growth initiatives
- Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and articulate commercial reasoning clearly in writing
- Experience evaluating opportunities, prioritizing accounts, managing customer relationships, negotiating business outcomes, and driving revenue growth
- Familiarity with modern sales frameworks and methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN Selling, Solution Selling, Value Selling, Account-Based Sales, or similar approaches
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify strategic weaknesses, revenue risks, customer engagement challenges, and execution gaps
- Experience working in B2B, B2C, SaaS, technology, professional services, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, or enterprise sales environments preferred
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales technologies such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Gong, Outreach, Salesloft, or equivalent preferred
