We are seeking a skilled Insurance Agent to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.
Location: U.S.-based experts only
Engagement: Part-time, project-based expert evaluation work

CareerBench evaluates how effectively AI systems provide career guidance across professional occupations. We are seeking experienced Insurance Agents to evaluate AI-generated career guidance related to insurance sales, agency development, licensing requirements, client relationship management, specialization opportunities, and long-term advancement within the insurance industry. Contributors will assess whether AI-generated recommendations accurately reflect professional realities and career pathways in insurance.
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).
ResponsibilitiesContributors will:
- Create benchmark answers for insurance career-related questions
- Develop profession-specific evaluation rubrics
- Assess AI-generated guidance concerning insurance licensing and professional development
- Review recommendations involving agency growth, client acquisition, and retention
- Evaluate advice related to specialization in life, health, property, casualty, or commercial insurance
- Identify inaccurate or impractical career recommendations
- Provide written rationale supporting evaluation decisions
- Accurate benchmark responses reflecting insurance industry practices
- Consistent evaluation frameworks for insurance career guidance
- Reliable scoring of AI-generated responses
- Identification of licensing, compliance, and career-development inaccuracies
- High-quality expert feedback supporting model improvement
- Minimum 3 years of professional insurance experience
- Active insurance license strongly preferred
- Experience in sales, servicing, underwriting support, or agency operations
- Familiarity with insurance career progression and licensing pathways
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate professional guidance objectively
