We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Practitioner to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.

Project Summary: CareerBench evaluates how effectively AI systems provide career guidance across professional occupations. We are seeking licensed Mental Health Practitioners to evaluate AI-generated career guidance related to counseling, psychotherapy, psychology, clinical licensure, specialization areas, private practice development, community mental health work, and professional advancement within behavioral health professions. Contributors will ensure AI-generated recommendations accurately reflect educational, ethical, and licensing requirements.
This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors/employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).
ResponsibilitiesContributors will:
- Create benchmark answers for mental health career questions
- Develop scoring rubrics for evaluating AI-generated career guidance
- Assess recommendations related to licensure, supervision, and professional development
- Review advice concerning counseling, psychotherapy, psychology, and behavioral health career pathways
- Evaluate guidance involving specialization, private practice, and leadership opportunities
- Identify inaccurate, unethical, or unrealistic career recommendations
- Provide written rationale supporting evaluation outcomes
- Accurate benchmark responses grounded in professional mental health practice
- Reliable evaluation criteria for behavioral health career guidance
- Consistent scoring of AI-generated responses across career scenarios
- Identification of inaccuracies related to licensure, ethics, and career development
- Actionable expert feedback supporting AI evaluation quality
- Active U.S. license required (e.g., Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of professional practice experience
- Familiarity with mental health licensure, supervision, and career progression pathways
- Experience providing clinical services, counseling, psychotherapy, or behavioral health support
- Strong written communication and analytical skills
- Ability to evaluate professional guidance objectively and consistently
