Join a growing community of professionals advancing the next wave of AI. As an AI Trainer, you’ll play a hands-on role by analyzing and providing feedback on data to improve LLM performance, helping ensure that the next generation of AI technology is accurate and trustworthy.

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to work as a project consultant in our AI Labor Marketplace. This is not a full-time employment position — you will be engaged as an expert project consultant on a contract basis.

Location: U.S.-based experts only

Engagement: Part-time, 1099 project-based

Work Type: Remote

Project Summary: This project evaluates how effectively AI systems provide career guidance across professional occupations. We are seeking experienced Civil Engineers to evaluate AI-generated career guidance related to engineering licensure, technical specialization, project management, infrastructure development, consulting careers, public-sector engineering, and leadership progression. Contributors will ensure that AI recommendations accurately reflect engineering career realities and professional standards.

Consultant Engagement Terms:

This is a project-based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per-project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time.

Responsibilities:

Contributors will:

  • Create benchmark answers for civil engineering career questions
  • Develop evaluation rubrics for AI-generated guidance
  • Assess recommendations involving FE and PE licensure pathways
  • Review advice concerning engineering specializations and career advancement
  • Evaluate guidance related to project delivery, consulting, and public infrastructure work
  • Identify technically inaccurate or unrealistic career recommendations
  • Provide written explanations supporting evaluation decisions

  • Accurate engineering career benchmarks
  • Profession-specific scoring frameworks
  • Consistent evaluation of AI-generated career guidance
  • Identification of licensing and professional-practice inaccuracies
  • Reliable expert feedback supporting model evaluation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years+ of civil engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Familiarity with engineering licensure and career progression
  • Experience in design, construction, consulting, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate professional guidance objectively
  • U.S.-based
