What We’re Looking For

At Hunt Club, we call our sales team “Partnerships” because we believe in relationships rather than transactions. We work with growth stage, venture-backed companies that have significant talent needs. We have General Managers in markets across the US that act as the “CEO” of their market. Hunt Club is continuously expanding and we are looking for a General Manager to lead our growth and impact in the technology space. This includes helping customers hire for their Engineering, Product, and Design teams (aka the EPD Organization).

This individual will sit in our Partnerships team and will be responsible for building and expanding this market. The primary focus will be to sell to new customers within this market and expand relationships with existing customers within the area. This is a quota-carrying role and success in the role will be tied to the overall revenue generated in this market, in addition to delivering a world class partner experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop new channel relationships (venture funds, private equity, incubators, other search firms, etc.) with organizations in the market that lead to net new business opportunities
  • Be a hunter and identify new outbound business opportunities within the assigned market through your own personal network, professional network and channels you establish
  • End-to-end sale of Core Search business to prospective and existing customers in the assigned market (both individual companies and Venture Capital/Private Equity funds)
  • Expand relationships with existing customers by selling them new products and services
  • Partner with our Customer Success Team on the on-going relationship with customers post-sale
  • Work inbound sales leads that are generated through Hunt Club’s Marketing channels
  • Partner with our Search Team during the sales process to provide consultation to our customers and potential customers as they think through new roles
  • Act as the bridge between our Partnerships and Search team when a new search kicks off, bringing the necessary insight to ensure a successful search outcome
  • Partner with our Marketing team to host live and virtual events within your market to create brand exposure and drive new business
  • Write thought leadership content and speak at events that elevate the Hunt Club brand, showing that you are an expert
  • Help build Hunt Club’s Expert Network by bringing additional professionals into the network
  • Attend industry events and host Hunt Club owned events to drive new business

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience as a strategic seller with a strong preference in the recruiting space helping customers with their Leadership hiring needs
  • Sold to Leadership teams including Founders and CEOs
  • Have a strong network in technology companies
  • Do not have an ego and has a strong track record with cross-functional partners
  • Experience in selling both services and technology
  • Worked in startups or high growth environments and have comfort with ambiguity
  • Has familiarity with Venture Capital/Private Equity funds and startups
  • Great listener who uses what you hear to consult your customers
  • Obsessed with delivering a world class customer experience beginning in the sales process
  • Strong track record of delivering against quota year over year
  • Experience in using CRM technology like HubSpot
