Join the Grab Support (GS) Governance team. We are responsible for establishing organizational compliance, mitigating operational risks, and upholding high corporate governance standards. Our team partners across regional and local business units to drive operational excellence, ensuring Grab's support systems remain trusted, secure, and highly compliant.
Get to Know the Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Platform Experience Manager, you will play a critical role in strengthening Grab's governance infrastructure across Malaysia and the Philippines. You will based onsite in our Petaling Jaya (MY) or Manila (PH) offices. You will drive governance frameworks, support regulatory compliance, and collaborate with regional stakeholders to manage risk. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical professional to make a region-wide impact on our compliance strategy.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Framework Management: Develop, implement, and maintain corporate governance frameworks and compliance policies aligned with local regulatory standards in Malaysia and the Philippines.
- Compliance Audits: Lead governance assessments and compliance audits across business units, proactively identifying risk areas and designing structured mitigation strategies.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed, executive-ready governance reports and compliance dashboards for senior leadership and board committees.
- AI-Driven Productivity: Leverage Generative AI tools to research evolving compliance regulations, draft policy updates, and automate routine administrative workflows for improved team efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and external advisors to align business initiatives with governance protocols.
- Board Support & Training: Support board and committee governance functions, and facilitate compliance training and awareness programs for regional teams.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related field (e.g., corporate legal or audit).
- AI & Productivity: You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.
- Governance & Policy Expertise: Knowledge of corporate governance frameworks and experience drafting, implementing, and auditing corporate policies.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence and align with cross-functional teams and senior leadership on complex regulatory matters.
