Get to Know the Team

The OmniCommerce team sits at the intersection of dining, discovery, and commerce. We power two of Grab's most consumer-loved experiences — Dine Out Deals and Restaurant Reservations — helping diners find great value at their favourite restaurants while helping restaurant partners grow their businesses through Grab's platform.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for an Associate to support the analytical and operational engine behind our Dine Out Deals and Reservations businesses. You'll be the go-to person for business performance tracking, insight generation, and the kind of structured thinking that helps the team make better decisions faster.

You'll work across deals mechanics, campaign performance, consumer behaviour, and partner operations — building dashboards, running analyses, and flagging opportunities before they become problems. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in a spreadsheet and a stakeholder meeting, and who takes pride in turning messy data into a clear story.

You'll report to the Senior Manager, OmniCommerce, and work onsite at our Singapore One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Business Performance Tracking

  • Own the weekly and monthly performance reporting cadence across Dine Out Deals and Reservations — covers GMV, cover growth, deal redemptions, consumer retention, and partner health metrics.
  • Maintain and improve business dashboards so the team always has a live, accurate view of what is happening and why.
  • Flag performance anomalies early and work with the team to diagnose root causes.

Analytics and Insight Generation

  • Run structured analyses on campaign performance, consumer behaviour, merchant trends, and channel effectiveness to surface actionable insights.
  • Support pricing and deals strategy with data — including analysis of discount mechanics, promo ROI, and consumer incentive efficiency.
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for business and product stakeholders.

Operations Improvement

  • Identify friction points in how deals are set up, tracked, and optimised — and propose process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
  • Support the team in designing and tracking experiments (A/B tests, pilot campaigns) and synthesising results into clear go/no-go recommendations.
  • Help maintain the operational health of the deals and reservations pipeline, working with internal partners in product, finance, and merchant operations.

Stakeholder and Partner Support

  • Prepare data packs, business reviews, and ad-hoc analyses for internal stakeholders and restaurant partners.
  • Collaborate with the merchant operations and sales teams to share performance insights and help partners grow their presence on the platform.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 0 to 2 years of working experience in business analytics, business intelligence, operations, strategy, or a related function
  • Strong command of SQL for data extraction and analysis; comfortable working in large datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, financial modelling, and scenario analysis.
  • Structured thinker who can frame ambiguous questions, work through data independently, and communicate findings clearly.
  • A genuine curiosity about consumer behaviour, marketplace dynamics, and what makes a good deal actually work.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Cursor is strongly preferred and will be a significant advantage in this role. We are an AI-forward team — candidates who actively use these tools to accelerate their work will thrive here.
