The Legal team is a well-established group responsible for managing all compliance and legal matters. Our team consists of a perfect blend of passionate and dedicated individuals. If you're looking for an exciting opportunity, this is one you won't want to miss!

Get to Know the Role

As a member of the Grab Legal team, you will play a key role in safeguarding our interests through analysis and legal governance. You'll be an invaluable asset in providing legal guidance to support business strategies and operations across multiple regions. You will report to General Counsel - Thailand and work onsite at the Grab Bangkok office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements to ensure they align with Grab's business objectives.
• You will provide comprehensive legal advice and practical solutions across different laws, balancing business strategies and commercial needs with legal requirements and risks.
• You will ensure compliance of Grab's products, services, and projects with applicable laws.
• You will raise awareness of relevant legal compliance among Grabbers and promote best practices in contract and legal risk management.
• You will collaborate with teams both within the legal department and across other departments at local and regional levels.
• You will supervise and coordinate with external counsel on dispute resolution matters.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in law from a university with a lawyer's license issued by the Lawyers Council of Thailand.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the legal field with a reputable law firm or multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of corporate laws, regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution.
• Proficient in both English and Thai, including legal terminology.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure with effective multitasking and time management abilities.
• A team player who can also work independently.
