Get to Know the Team
This role sits within the Singapore Deliveries & Commercial organisation. The organisation houses the business functions for GrabFood, Dine Out, GrabMart, and GrabExpress businesses, as well as the commercial functions (Sales & Account Managers) that interface with all our merchant-partners.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a new Commercial Analytics Associate to join the team. In this role, you will work alongside the business teams, the Commercial/Operations teams, and Account Managers to uncover growth opportunities within our portfolio and projects. You will play a key role in driving and monitoring the performance of our portfolio, ensuring alignment with our commercial objectives.
You will report to the Director, OmniCommerce & Special Projects, Singapore, onsite at our Grab One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with the Business Units and Commercial team to develop go-to-market initiatives to meet commercial objectives (monetization, cross-sell etc).
- Support growth initiatives with relevant data analysis, insights and recommendations and work closely with internal stakeholders towards the desired outcome.
- Build and maintain key dashboards that reflect the overall health of the business, enabling initial root cause analysis.
- Assist in the team's performance management including target setting, tracking, and portfolio management.
- Support the commercial team on commercial negotiations, joint brand partnerships, and business reviews through a systematic data-driven lens.
- Conduct competitive intelligence benchmarking and deep-dive research into industry trends and competitor movements. Synthesize external market shifts with internal data to provide a holistic view of the business landscape
- Having a mastery of key AI tools within Grab and empowering the Business Units to utilise these tools well.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree, with 1+ years of experience in a related field (Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Business Intelligence)
- Prior experience with SQL and Python, as well as Microsoft office/Google suite
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights clearly and succinctly.
- Ability to work independently and is structured when approaching tasks.
