Job Description
Get to Know the Team
You'll be part of the GrabMaps product team, a group of product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers. This team is building world-class mapping and geo solutions that power Grab's superapp and a growing portfolio of external B2B partners. The team works on products such as AI-driven maps, Places, traffic, routing, and geo-intelligence services that are used daily by millions of Grab consumers and enterprises across the region. You'll report to the Head of Product for Map Making and Commercialisation. You'll collaborate with leaders across engineering, data science, operations, sales, and customer support. You'll share accountability for product adoption, customer satisfaction, and direct revenue outcomes with these leaders.
Get to Know the Role
As a Principal Product Manager – Geo Commercialisation, you will be an individual contributor. You will lead the commercial product strategy for Grab's geo and mapping capabilities, with a clear goal of turning industry-leading geo assets into scalable, revenue-generating B2B/B2G products. You will focus on maximising the revenue of what GrabMaps builds — shaping how we package, price, and deliver our geo data, platforms, and solutions to external customers.
You will operate at the intersection of product, sales, and customer delivery, working with Business Development and Commercial teams to produce direct revenue. While sales teams are accountable for closing deals, you are responsible for the product outcomes. You will develop the right product and commercial models and reduce friction in adoption.
The role equally spans strategy and execution. You will define a multi-year geo commercialisation strategy, identify priority customer segments where Grab has a right to win, and focus on scaling adoption. At the same time, you will guide execution: supporting strategic deals, engaging directly with customers, and aligning delivery, and product teams to meet revenue targets and product-market fit goals.
We measure the success of this role by sustained revenue growth, adoption within priority segments, product-market fit of new products, and scalability.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Define and lead the commercial product strategy for GrabMaps translating core geo assets into scalable B2B and B2G products.
- Identify high-impact customer segments, informed by market research, customer feedback, and revenue opportunity.
- Develop a product roadmap that balances commercial opportunity, customer needs, and engineering investment, aligned with revenue targets, long-term strategy and tradeoffs.
- Partner with Business Development, Marketing and Commercial teams to shape product promotion, packaging, pricing and ensure successful deal execution.
- Be the voice of the B2B/B2G customer, working with delivery, operations, and support teams to ensure products are adoptable, scalable, and deliver measurable customer value.
- Support strategic sales engagements of strategic opportunities.
- Lead product-market fit of new products through experimentation, customer validation, and iteration, with a bias toward scalability.
- Define and track success metrics across revenue, adoption, usage, and scalability, using data to inform prioritisation and product decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams to ensure execution and successful product launches.

- Experience balancing strategy and execution, including defining multi-year product strategies while remaining hands-on in delivery and iteration.
- Experience with Agile product development methodologies and lean experimentation, with a bias toward learning, iteration, and scalability.
