Get to Know the Team

The Regional Market Insights Team plays a pivotal role in influencing Grab's strategic and operational decisions by offering insights on industry developments and competitive dynamics. We evaluate the landscape through diverse lenses and complement traditional market research and analysis with innovative techniques. Our team comprises individuals from varied backgrounds, each bringing a unique set of experiences and skills to the table.

Get to Know the Role

In this role, you will lead competitive intelligence efforts to inform Grab's strategic decisions. This involves conducting in-depth financial analysis of key competitors and synthesizing various market data points into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership. You will dircetly report to the manager. The role will be based onsite.

The Critical Task you will perform

• Interpreting trends and insights derived from quantitative data and performance metrics.
• Monitoring industry developments and activities to identify key movements and opportunities.
• Perform financial analysis of key industry players to gain a deeper understanding of their market positioning and strategies.
• Applying critical thinking to synthesize observations and insights, crafting strategic narratives that connect the dots across the competitive landscape.
• Assess potential threats and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to drive Grab's strategic and operational decision-making processes.
• Lead and manage a small team responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring the accuracy of data collection and validation workflows.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration by managing projects and aligning objectives across multiple teams and departments.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• A minimum of 4+ years of working experience
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, wrangling, and analysis
• Able to speak both Bahasa & English
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other countries or cities within Indonesia
