Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineering Manager II, Mobile to join our dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In this role, you will lead and inspire a team of mobile developers, driving innovation and excellence in our mobile app development initiatives.

• Manage and mentor a team of mobile developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Oversee the full mobile app development lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-release support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement mobile app strategies aligned with business goals
• Establish and maintain best practices for mobile app development, including coding standards, architecture, and performance optimization
• Lead the planning and execution of multiple mobile projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing new tools and processes as needed
• Work closely with product managers and UX designers to create intuitive and engaging mobile experiences
• Manage app store submissions and ensure compliance with platform guidelines
• Analyze app performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on mobile development experience with both iOS and Android platforms
• 3+ years of engineering management experience, demonstrating strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Proficiency in mobile programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, and Java
• In-depth knowledge of mobile app architecture, cross-platform development frameworks, and UI/UX best practices
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile development teams
• Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven track record of successful mobile app launches and ongoing performance optimization
• Experience with app security, data protection, and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
