GrabAds is bringing to market, first-of-a-kind advertising products. Encompassing both offline & online, you can see our ads platform at work on the outside and inside of vehicles and also in our app, and eventually through audience extensions. We're applying our unique data and large, growing user base to offer an advertiser experience that promotes outcomes. We're creating value for our users, drivers and merchant partners.
Get to Know the Role
As the Client Partner Manager, you will lead a dynamic sales team focused on engaging brands and agencies. You will develop sales strategies, set revenue targets, and implement cutting-edge solutions to achieve results.
Beyond sales, you will collaborate with leaders from various internal teams, including Marketing, Rewards, Payments, Food, Enterprise, & Business Development, to create compelling advertising solutions and secure partnerships with high-value clients.
You will report directly to the Head of GrabAds Vietnam and work full-time onsite in Ho Chi Minh City (Mapletree Business Centre).
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:
- Lead, develop, and manage a sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Build and foster strong media buying relationships with brands and agencies in Vietnam, driving long-term partnerships.
- Execute high-impact pitches, manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and co-develop Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key partners.
- Focus on pipeline development and implement sales forecasting methods to provide accurate projections and meet team goals.
- Leverage data insights for actionable business decisions and monitor advertiser campaign performance.
- Cultivate talent within your team by emphasizing mentorship, skill development, and continuous learning.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to offer comprehensive advertising solutions tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- At least 7 years' experience in managing media and advertising sales teams, in Vietnam's ad ecosystem (both online and offline).
- Deep knowledge of media buying processes and ad operations within Vietnam's brand and agency landscape.
- Experience in utilizing data for decision-making, including campaign performance assessment
- Experience in maintaining long-term partnerships with brands and agencies.
- Proficiency in sales pipeline management, forecasting, and producing actionable sales reports using CRM systems.
- Coordinate in a matrixed environment, collaborating across multiple internal departments to deliver seamless solutions.
- Experience in coaching and developing sales talent, with a focus on achieving team efficiency and meeting targets.
