Get to Know the Team

Come join the Grabber Technology Solutions (GTS) Enterprise Architecture team - we empower Grab's future through deliberate and forward-looking technology decisions. Our focus is ensuring all changes in the corporate technology environment are aligned to the GTS Strategy and in turn, to our business strategy. We provide visibility of the technology landscape to allow teams to make strategic and tactical decisions which minimise risk and maximise benefit.

Get to Know the Role

You will partner with GTS and Corporate teams in the creation of strategy roadmaps to ensure capabilities and dependencies are mapped across functions to drive alignment to the architecture principles and the strategic target state.

You will report to the Principal Enterprise Architect - Automation and Integration, and be based onsite at Grab One North Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Drive the engagement with stakeholders to identify infrastructure capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives.
  • Work with other architects, service owners, and business leaders to develop technology architecture roadmap.
  • Design major aspects of the technology architecture, including components such as the directory, network, capacity, security, integration, and authentication.
  • Produce documents relating to technology architecture, design steps, integration processes, testing procedures, and standards relating to each system.
  • Interpret and contextualize strategy for operational needs, and develop specific artifacts (e.g. technology capability maps, value streams) to bridge the gap between strategy and execution.
  • Oversee system configuration (where applicable) and deployment in heavily regulated industries.
  • Ensure that uniformed enterprise-wide technology design standards are maintained.
  • Experience implementing cloud solutions along with integrations to different systems and external applications.
  • Anticipate emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements.
  • Identify and lead problem resolution for complex project requirements-related issues.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 10+ years experience in the IT industry, of which 5+ years focusing in application architecture, integration patterns, and database architecture.
  • Experience in the architecture of large ERP, HRMS, and CRM systems.
  • Solid experience in workflow automation/orchestration and REST APIs.
  • Experience translating our requirements into a technology proposal.
  • Working knowledge of COBIT, SOX, TOGAF related standards and requirements.
