Get to Know the Team
CREST stands for Corporate Real Estate And Security Team, covering the core workplace pillars of Security, Safety & Health (OHS), and Facilities, with a mission to create a safe, healthy, and secure workplace that enhances the Grabber experience and reduces workplace risks.
Get to Know the Role
This is a hands-on, coordinating, and compliance-focused role dedicated to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. It is a central supporting function for the entire OHS programme.
- Your core objective is to support the documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the company's OHS management system.
- Your role will involve both proactive prevention (risk assessments, safety embedding in new projects, emergency planning) and reactive management (incident investigations, reporting).
- You will also implement monthly OHS/wellness events (e.g., health talks, ergonomic workshops) to promote employee health and well-being aligned with WSHC goals.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Your responsibilities fall into three main areas: Compliance & Audits, Proactive Safety, and Programme Management.
- Maintain OHS Compliance & Readiness:
- You will support the BizSAFE Level 3/4 certification process and assist with internal/external audits (e.g., ISO 45001, MOM checks).
- You will conduct routine safety checks (monthly inspections of fire equipment, first aid, safety equipment) and track follow-ups.
- Manage Risk & Emergency Preparedness:
- You will help update risk assessments, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and emergency response plans.
- You will coordinate and support emergency drills (Fire, Crisis Management) and support incident/near-miss investigations.
- You will embed OHS in new projects like renovations and space planning.
- Promote Wellness & Data Reporting:
- You will plan and implement monthly OHS/wellness events (e.g., health talks, ergonomic workshops).
- You will compile monthly OHS reports (incident rates, compliance status) and manage OHS data/trackers.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
You will need a relevant academic background combined with administrative, technical, and interpersonal abilities.
- A Higher Diploma/Degree in a related field is essential, such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental Engineering, Facilities Management, or Public Health.
- Familiarity with BizSAFE, ISO 45001, risk assessment, Fire Safety, and safe work procedures.
- Organizational & Administrative Skills: Proficient in data management (Excel/reporting tools), procurement, documentation (meeting minutes), and coordination.
- Interpersonal & Project Skills: Ability to collaborate across teams (Facilities, People Operations), coordinate drills/events, and perform venue risk assessments (for event safety).
