Job Description

Join Grab's global Data Science team supporting the Financial Technology offerings specifically the Lending services.

You will report to a Senior Manager in the Data Science team and would work onsite based in Bangalore.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1. Build predictive models using a mix of machine learning and traditional analytics methods.
2. Validate models on new datasets, based on in-market performance.
3. Engineer predictive features from internal data assets to build refined customer profiles. Identify external data assets to bring into the model mix.
4. Solve previously unsolved analytics problems using the best data analytics and machine learning methodologies.
5. Work backwards to conceptualise and design analytic model frameworks to solve business problems.
6. Build dashboards for model key performance Indicators.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

1. A total of 2 to 4 years of experience building machine learning and predictive models in Python and Spark
2. Proficiency in SQL, Presto, and Hive.
3. Sound knowledge of Illustrative machine learning concepts such as Bagging, Boosting, Regularisation, Online Learning, Recommendation Engines
4. Expertise in feature creation on a variety of data types.
5. Demonstrated experience building machine learning models

Desirable Requirements:

1. Experience with LLMs, and Generative AI
2. Understanding of the trade-offs between model performance and business requirements.
