Get to Know the Team
Grab's Corporate Security team safeguards our people, facilities, and operations across Southeast Asia. Our team manages physical security, investigations, incident and crisis response, travel safety, and security training—working cross‑functionally to reduce risk and keep our workplaces safe, compliant, and resilient.
Get to Know the Role
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
The trainee will be based in Singapore and will support the Corporate Security team in ensuring a safe, secure workplace. Over the traineeship, the role will offer you the chance to work on projects that make a difference in creating secure environments for Grabbers to operate in.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- System Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design security systems tailored to organisational needs, including surveillance systems and related technologies.
- Project Implementation: Assist the implementation, installation, and commissioning of surveillance systems to ensure functionality and integration.
- Maintenance and Testing: Assist to develop maintenance and testing regimes to ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely.
- Installations and Relocations: Ensure all security system installations, upgrades, and relocations are conducted within agreed timelines and with minimal disruption.
- Work with the Operations Management Center (OMC) to define system requirements and oversee implementation processes.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Preferred: Polytechnic diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant coursework accepted.
- You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows, and contribute new ideas.
Technical Skills Trainee will learn during the traineeship:
