Get to Know the Role
KYB / Onboarding / Operational processes review
This traineeship is a unique opportunity to lead a strategic project focused on optimizing the end-to-end onboarding experience for our Grab For Business clients.
You will take a holistic look at the entire customer journey, from initial application to account activation, and work to streamline the underlying operational processes.
While Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) are a vital part of this, your goal is to find efficiencies and improvements across the entire process.
This role provides hands-on experience in business analysis, strategic operations, and customer journey optimization.
This is a 6 months full-time onsite role based in Singapore as part of the GRIT Programme.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
The trainee will be involved in the following key project areas:
- Conducting a comprehensive review of the current onboarding experience, including both the customer journey and internal operational workflows.
- Performing in-depth market research on best-in-class solutions and industry standards for onboarding, operational efficiency, and customer verification (KYB/KYC).
- Analyzing existing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement across the entire onboarding funnel.
- Evaluating and assessing potential platforms or tools that could enhance the customer experience or increase operational efficiency.
- Developing a strategic roadmap that outlines actionable ideas and an implementation plan.
- Executing and implementing partial or all of the proposed solutions that are feasible within the traineeship period.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
Technical Skills and Competencies Trainee will learn during the traineeship:
- Customer Journey Mapping & Business Analysis: Learning to analyze and map an end-to-end customer journey to identify pain points and areas for operational improvement.
- Strategic Research & Evaluation: Conducting in-depth research to inform strategic decisions on process improvements and technology adoption, including for KYB/KYC solutions.
- Operational Excellence: Gaining practical experience in streamlining business processes to improve efficiency, speed, and overall quality.
- Project Management & Implementation: Taking an active role in project management, from developing a roadmap to implementing tangible solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Developing professional communication skills by working with various teams to gather requirements and present findings.
