The GrabFood team is a dynamic group focused on delivering the best food delivery experience for our users. We work with restaurants, delivery partners, and customers to ensure that everyone has a seamless experience.

Get to Know the Role

The GrabFood Merchant Growth Lead role is focused on driving the growth of our merchant partners within the GrabFood ecosystem. You will typically involve strategizing and implementing projects to attract new merchants, enhance existing partnerships, and increase the merchant experience.

You will report to Growth & Monetization Manager.

You will work onsite at HCM City or Ha Noi City.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Merchant Growth Strategy and Relationship Management: Promote GMV, revenue, and ads through targeted programs, market insights, and merchant partnerships.
  • Product and insights: Be a subject matter expert on merchant platform features, providing insights for product improvement and development. Turn feedback from merchants and sales/AM into roadmap and execution improvements
  • Data Analysis and Performance Optimization: Monitor Goals (orders, fulfillment, ratings). Develop and implement strategies to enhance merchant performance through training, operational support, and marketing projects.
  • Leadership and collaboration: Lead, maintain the team. Work with other teams to deliver merchant-focused projects.
  • Operation: Improve the merchant journey across all lifecycle stages. Provide tools and education, and resolve operational issues such as cancellations, delays, and customer complaints.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchant development, account management, or business growth roles in e-commerce, food delivery, or tech industries. Knowledge of the food delivery ecosystem or familiarity with GrabFood's merchant platform.
  • Experience managing teams and collaborating across departments.
  • Experience developing growth strategies for small to medium-sized businesses or longtail merchant segments.
  • Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and deriving insights to improve merchant operations. Knowledge of data visualization tools and reporting systems (e.g., Excel (can write advanced macros), Tableau, or similar platforms)
  • Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership of multiple tasks or experiments
