Get to Know the Team
The Business Development team plays a critical role in driving Grab's growth by developing strategic partnerships, unlocking new opportunities, and scaling impactful projects.
Get to Know the Role
You will:
- Lead Dine-out Nationwide: Oversee merchant acquisition and incubation for Dine Out across Vietnam, managing a team of BD Specialists to deliver performance and sustainable growth.
- OneGrab Strategic Partnerships: Build partnership opportunities with top/strategic partners, building cross-vertical collaborations to accelerate Grab's ecosystem growth.
- New Growth Projects: Lead Travel business development and other ad-hoc projects to create incremental demand and expand Grab's value proposition.
You will report to the Business Development Manager and will work onsite in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Lead a nationwide BD Specialists team, setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and providing guidance to lead Dine Out acquisition and incubation.
- Define strategies, set targets, and ensure delivery for Dine Out, OneGrab, and Travel projects.
- Identify partnerships with top merchants and ecosystem partners to support Grab's long-term growth.
- Plan and implement Travel partnerships with hotels, OTAs, and attractions, ensuring and measurable results.
- Collaborate with teams (Commercial, Marketing, Transport, Food, IMS, and Regional team) to align business plans and maximize.
- Oversee operations and project execution, track performance, and provide insights and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage ad-hoc projects and act as an important driver for new projects aligned with company strategy.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- At least 6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience leading and developing teams, driving performance and delivering measurable outcomes, building and scaling new projects.
- Track record in merchant acquisition and strategic partnerships with top/main accounts.
- With the ability to define growth strategies and complete.
- Work and manage complex projects.
- Comfortable with data analysis to identify opportunities and solve challenges.
