Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to join our team. You will lead the strategy, discovery, and execution of in-app insurance experiences for Grab's ecosystem, driving a product roadmap that delivers innovative solutions aligned with customer needs, market trends, and Grab's vision.
You will work with cross-functional teams and external insurance partners to create impactful products that balance user experience, compliance, and business goals. You will report to the Senior Product Leader for Insurance and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to drive measurable outcomes.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Define and lead the vision, strategy, and success metrics for your product area in close partnership with commercial, country, and other product teams.
- Deep-dive into customer behavior, market trends, and internal data to identify pain points and opportunities that inform roadmap priorities.
- Drive experimentation, structured learning, and fast iteration to find product-market fit and build a differentiated insurance portfolio.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle – from discovery and user research to execution and post-launch monitoring.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and manage dependencies across multiple teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, analytics, and product marketing teams to deliver elegant, scalable, and compliant insurance experiences.
- Use Vibe coding to validate new product ideas and experiences, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands before development begins.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 5 + years of direct experience in product management at a tech company in either platform or user-centric products.
- Experience managing product lifecycle including initial concept, market research, defining product requirements, working with teams and ongoing product management
- Ability to think in systems and coordinate execution across horizontal capabilities.
- Strong user empathy and customer-first mindset, coupled with rigorous data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills – comfortable working with leadership, engineering, and commercial teams alike.
- Proven ability to scale products from 0 to 1 or 1 to n, in complex, fast-moving environments.
