Get to Know the Team

The Regional Centre of Excellence (COE) drives operational excellence through process optimization and tech-driven improvements. Within it, the Planning & Strategic Projects (PSP) team oversees COE governance, future planning, and key initiatives, while also serving as the main regional operations contact for product teams to enhance merchant and driver partner experiences.

Get to Know the Role

As a regional team member, you will collaborate with cross-functional and country-specific teams to implement projects focused on improving business efficiency and enriching customer and partner experiences. You will be responsible for the entire problem-solving process, from defining the issues to collaborating with cross-functional product and country teams on solutions, and finally, implementing and experimenting with the changes.This role will be on-site and based in Jakarta.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Identify initiatives to enhance operational efficiency for driver/merchant partners
  • Design driver and merchant behavior shaping related policies to improve the experience for end-users
  • Standardize and harmonize country-specific processes and requirements, aiming for an 80-20 rule to facilitate faster implementation and adoption of product improvements, ultimately enhancing end-user experiences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders
  • Lead regional go-to-market (GTM) and rollout plans, with a focus on operational process standardization, harmonization, and change management.
  • Facilitate cross-functional improvement workshops to pinpoint pain points, define problem statements, drive process design/re-engineering, and automate processes.
  • Advise junior team members on problem-solving methodologies, solution design, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering or Business disciplines from top-tier institutions with a strong academic record
  • 5+ years of experience, with project management or business process improvement, including process mapping, operating model design, transition planning, etc.
  • Advanced in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Good understanding of product development logic
  • Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal skills are critical as you will interact with very diverse stakeholders in the business and technology spaces
  • Ability to think from different perspectives and generate functional solutions

The good to haves:

  • 2+ years of experience at a strategy consulting firm
  • Knowledge of project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Certification in Six Sigma, LEAN, Agile, PMP practices
  • Readiness to travel 10-20% of the time
  • Familiarity with SQL
