Get to Know the Team

Our Merchant Strategy Team is now finding a teammate to join our young motivated team on this rocketship with the mission to empower merchants with economic opportunities while making lives easier for all Thais. Our team operates with consumer centricity, growth mindset, and intellectual rigor. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of Grabfood. You will have a chance to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty from time to time while overseeing strategic cross-functional initiatives with close interaction with top management.

Get to Know the Role

Reporting to Manager, Merchant Strategy, you will develop strategic programs that strengthen Grab and its merchants in the long run throughout Thailand. You will oversee business identification, strategy, product development, cross-functional cooperation, and execution.

This role is based onsite in our Bangkok Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Business Identification: You will gather and analyze both qualitative and quantitative information to identify opportunities for business growth. Learn and share findings with peers.
  • Strategy: You will provide teams with a strategic vision, business insights, and applicable plans, ensuring clear communication channels.
  • Product Development: You will represent Thailand's interests in co-developing products and ensuring optimal results for Grabfood Thailand.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with both internal and regional teams to develop and execute high-level projects that impact GrabFood's success.
  • Execution: You will organize and integrate overarching plans into specific project-related activities with working teams.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Minimum 2 years experience in business analyst, business development, project management or equivalent role
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in creating strategic visions, plans, and business insights.
  • Project Management: Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide win-win solutions for stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Capability to organize and integrate overarching plan into project-related. Demonstrated ability to work well with internal and regional teams.
  • SQL Knowledge: Having a knowledge of SQL is a plus or willingness to invest time to learn.
