The Singapore Operations team drives growth and innovation for Grab, shaping the business to meet the evolving needs of consumers. We contribute to Grab’s vision of being Southeast Asia’s superapp by providing everyday services that matter most, and we develop and execute business strategies that help us serve our community effectively.
The Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchant partners, advocating for solutions that enhance their success on Grab. We collaborate with business verticals (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabPay, OmniCommerce) and product teams to deliver strategic initiatives that consider local market needs and optimize both merchant and consumer experiences, supporting country growth, cost priorities, and operational efficiency.
Get to know the role
This role turns OmniCommerce (Dine Out Deals, Reservations, Loyalty as a Service) strategies into action in Singapore by driving initiatives from planning to execution. You will lead cross-functional projects, implement scalable solutions, and shape operational processes that improve merchant and consumer experiences. By translating strategic priorities into concrete outcomes and coordinating end-to-end delivery, this role ensures initiatives achieve business impact while supporting Singapore’s growth and operational efficiency.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Lead business and product initiatives, ensuring alignment with local market needs to drive adoption and efficiency
- Design and implement policies and workflows that turn business needs into clear, scalable processes, improving daily operations and user experience
- Continuously monitor and enhance merchant and consumer experiences to keep the platform competitive and high-performing
- Develop and scale solutions that improve performance, strengthen operational efficiency, and support long-term strategic goals
- Apply local market insights to refine platform features and processes, driving greater merchant success and satisfaction
- Encourage self-serve tool adoption by uncovering actionable insights that empower merchants to operate independently and thrive
- Serve as the main liaison across product, engineering, support and operations teams to align priorities and ensure seamless delivery
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business/Engineering or other relevant courses
- 4+ years of experience in consulting and/or working with across multiple departments team members, preferably in leading regional or global tech and ecommerce firms
- Proven experience managing end-to-end projects and implementing scalable solutions
- Structured thought process and strong analytical abilities, able to translate insights into actionable outcomes
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and accountable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity
