We are looking for an Art-Based Creative Lead who:
- Has magical thinking and masterful craftsmanship, which you use to solve business problems…and maybe win some awards.
- Champions doing what's right for the brand.
- Believes that good enough is not good enough.
- Can already think of 20 different ways to make this recruitment ad better.
Reporting to the SG Creative Director, this is a fully on-site role based in our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will set and push the standards of the Creative department, ensuring that only the highest quality of visuals that are on brand leave the door.
- You will manage projects and work with the Creative Producers to ensure the team is productive, motivated, and delivering work.
- You will work and align with Marketing to develop strategies, tactics, and ideas that build the brand and meet the objectives.
- You will lead the design and development of effective communications and brand campaigns, which include digital creative work such as online display ads and in-app comms and customer experience design.
- You will provide guidance for the juniors, together with the senior Creatives in the SG Creative team.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 9+ years of experience, where you have led and executed large integrated campaigns (including digital marketing).
- A portfolio that showcases your excellent visual design and conceptualisation skills.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of visual design.
- Formal design training in art or other design disciplines, plus basic knowledge of copywriting.
- The ability to explain, sell, and defend your art direction choices in an objective way.
- Strong communication skills in managing stakeholders from all levels.
- Some experience managing a team of art directors and copywriters.
- Experience managing workflow to develop multiple creative assets.
- Strong technical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- An interest in AI and automation.
