Get to Know the Team
The Platform Safety and Quality team is responsible for all safety and quality-related aspects of the platform and directly supports all of Grab's business verticals and teams across the region. This team drives initiatives to improve User Safety and Quality (consumers, driver-partners, merchants) in areas such as accidents, harm, food safety and hygiene management, and crime by influencing tech solutions, local policies, frameworks, communications, training, and refining internal processes.
Get to Know the Role
You will report to Safety Response & Mitigation Manager. You will collect data, identify gaps, and propose solutions to improve the efficiency and efficacy of operations. You will also enhance automation tools to manage safety and quality standards across Grab's business. This is an Onsite role based in Jakarta.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Own safety objectives and key results (OKRs), ensuring targets are met and metrics are continuously improved. Track progress and report outcomes to stakeholders.
- Evaluate and enhance safety incident handling procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and implement best practices.
- Oversee daily platform safety operations and coordinate with teams to ensure compliance with our standards.
- Assess performance of safety-related products and features. Gather feedback, analyze data, and provide insights for enhancements.
- Conduct investigations into safety incidents, analyze root causes, document findings, and recommend immediate and long-term preventive measures.
- Liaise with authorities regarding safety, which includes but is not limited to sharing data with law enforcement and attending trials when necessary.
- Work with city teams and other stakeholders to develop and implement localized safety programs and contribute to incident investigations.
- Analyze safety data and incidents to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, using insights to enhance safety measures.
- Manage the budget for safety programs, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve safety goals.
- Keep accurate records of safety incidents and compliance documentation. Prepare regular safety reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Minima 3+ years of experience.
- To identify and critically analyze quantitative and qualitative patterns that are associated with safety trends.
- The ability to present data, with the desire to work on applicable findings.
- The scope of thought to develop a variety of complex procedures to prevent and mitigate safety risks
- Have understanding in data analytics and can-do attitude will be a surplus
