Grab VN Business Control team is an experienced team responsible for us's good financial health. We review our operation and make efforts to improve the process, risk management.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a proactive Lead, Finance Operations Support to take ownership of all matters related to tax compliance, billing operations, and automation improvement. You will be an important advisor to the business team, providing financial insights and support to lead informed decision-making.

You will report to Manager, Business Control.

You will work onsite at HCMC.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Tax Compliance and Management:

  • Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax.
  • Collaborate with the Tax team to manage audits, inspections, and regulatory changes.
  • Resolve discrepancies in tax reporting and filing processes.
  • Be an primary liaison with tax authorities and team members to address tax-related inquiries.

Billing Operations:

  • Oversee end-to-end billing processes to ensure accuracy, and compliance.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and provide solutions to minimize client impact.
  • Communicate with clients on these dispute regarding to invoice matters
  • Collaborate with the BPO team to improve billing workflows and manage backlogs.
  • Develop frameworks and guidelines for billing operations to support team efficiency.

Automation and Process Improvement:

  • Build and implement automation tools to reduce manual workload and improve operational efficiency.
  • Improve data processing and reconciliation workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI.
  • Improve plans for finance processes, ensuring scalability and accuracy.

Business Advisory Support:

  • Provide financial insights and advisory support to the business team on matters such as budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Partner with Sales , Commercial and Marketing teams to evaluate budgets of new projects.
  • Develop financial models and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.

Other ad-hoc tasks required by the managers

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in finance operations, tax compliance, or similar roles.
  • Analytical skills with expertise in data processing tools (e.g., SQL, Python, and Power BI).
  • Experience managing billing operations and resolving discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance processes.
  • Work collaboratively across teams and lead process improvements.
