Get to Know the Team
The Grab Driver Acquisition and Onboarding Department recruits and onboards driver and rider-partners, ensuring a smooth application process and successful setup. They grow Grab and MoveIt's rider base through diverse strategies and collaborate across teams to shape drivers' early lifecycle journey.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Driver Onboarding Assistant Manager with expertise in data, analytics, and process improvement. You will lead efforts to attract, recruit, and onboard drivers for the Grab/MoveIt platform, focusing on optimizing workflows and technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability. You will collaborate with different teams, including on ground operations, driver marketing, and marketplace teams, to grow the rider base and business.
You will report to our Marikina office 5 days per week, with frequent visits to Spot Activation sites in Greater Metro Manila.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Onboarding Workflow and Compliance
- Design and implement optimized onboarding processes to reduce applicant friction, improve driver experience, and minimize handling time.
- Develop operational models and workflows tailored to driver-partner requirements and projected volumes.
- Manage and forecast workforce need to support daily operations and future projects, ensuring efficient resource distribution.
- Ensure compliance with onboarding policies and regulatory requirements while collaborating with teams to operationalize workflows.
- Process Analysis & Optimization
- Evaluate and improve business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and execute strategies for streamlining operations, ensuring openness to changing factors.
- Maintain accessible documentation of processes and changes, and provide training and workshops to support adoption of best practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, address challenges, and secure support for process improvements.
- Design solutions for complex business problems, promoting collaboration during planning, execution, and feedback stages.
- Data Analysis
- Perform data analysis to ensure informed decision-making and propose solutions for operational improvements.
- Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement using performance metrics and data insights.
- Lead process improvement projects, integrating measurement mechanisms for monitoring and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through innovative thinking and industry best practices.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in automation, data analytics, supply chain, project management, or process improvement.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and a grasp of programming and software development.
- Ability to work with a meet and/on independently, meet recruitment targets, and stay updated on latest technologies.
- Commitment to enhancing technical expertise and knowledge of transport, cars, and the automotive and transport industry.
