We are instrumental in steering the business direction, ensuring that we enhance our value proposition to customers while staying ahead in a competitive market. Get to Know the Role
- You'll help steer the strategic direction of Deliveries by identifying growth opportunities, assessing risks, and developing winning strategies.
- You'll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the region to shape plans that sharpen our edge and expand our impact.
- You will report to the Senior Manager, Deliveries Strategy, and this role is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will analyse external trends, competitive dynamics, and market changes to identify growth opportunities and potential business threats.
- You will develop and articulate Deliveries' competitive positioning, setting priorities that align with our goals.
- You will lead the strategic planning process, including developing business cases, scenario planning, and creating strategic roadmaps that guide the business forward.
- You will establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategic plans and make data-driven adjustments.
- You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to communicate strategy, gain buy-in, and manage expectations across all levels.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- You have at least 6 years of experience in business strategy, within e-commerce, marketplaces, or consulting.
- You excel at analyzing market trends to uncover growth opportunities and risks, and bring expertise in crafting competitive positioning strategies that align with our goals.
- You have a track record in leading strategic planning—developing business cases, defining priorities, and shaping strategic roadmaps.
- You are proficient in SQL and analytics to identify key drivers and make data-backed recommendations.
- You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—comfortable influencing at all levels of the organisation to drive strategy adoption.
- You are a strategic thinker with the ability to balance trade-offs between long-term vision with short-term execution.
