Get to Know the Team

The Singapore Operations team drives growth and innovation for Grab in Singapore, shaping the business to meet the evolving needs of consumers. We contribute towards Grab's vision of being Southeast Asia's superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers. We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.

As part of Singapore Operations, the Merchant Operations team represents the voice of our merchant-partners, advocating for solutions that enhance their experience and success on Grab. We work closely with business verticals (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabPay, OmniCommerce), as well as product, finance, and legal teams to deliver impactful and meaningful solutions. Our role is to localize and optimize platform experiences for merchants and consumers while supporting Singapore's business growth and cost-efficiency goals.

Get to Know the Role

This role is essential to support the country's growth and cost efficiency goals by driving Deliveries initiatives operationally. It acts as the operational bridge between strategy, product and execution, ensuring effective collaboration across teams. The role helps align business goals with on-ground needs to deliver sustainable outcomes and a better user experience.

This role will report to Manager, Merchant Operations, based onsite at our One North Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Own country Merchant experience; ensure service delivery and operational continuity, while driving operational execution of strategic business initiatives and experiments
  • Lead country GTM for business and product initiatives, ensuring local needs are effectively addressed
  • Design and implement policies and workflows that enhance the user experience, translating business needs into feasible, scalable solutions
  • Continuously optimize processes and tools to balance consumer satisfaction, merchant experience, operational efficiency and solution readiness
  • Act as main liaison and collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, support and operations teams to align priorities and ensure successful delivery
  • Monitor performance metrics and feedback loops to identify areas for improvement and support data-driven decision-making
  • Lead local outage response and manage stakeholder communication

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with strong academic credentials
  • Minimum of 3 years in operations, analytics or project/program management in fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Able to break down complex issues and drive actionable solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
