Get to Know the Team

Join our Quality Assurance team in Consumer Experience (CX) which works with multiple departments to ensure our software meets the highest standards. You'll be part of a working group that values quality and strives for continuous improvement through collaboration and new ideas.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for our CX, Growth team to deliver high-quality products and enhance user experiences across the Grab app's homepage, food ordering, and ride booking features. Your role involves conducting impactful experiments and leading automation testing to improve our testing processes. You will report to the manager and work onsite in our Jakarta Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will conduct functional and regression testing for iOS, Android, and backend.
• Develop automated test scripts using automation frameworks.
• Implement manual and automated test cases, enhancing scripts.
• Debug and report defects with clear details for resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and engineers to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Provide test estimates and report defects to reflect sprint status and system stability.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Testing: 3+ years of experience in QA.
• Automation Testing: 1+ years with mobile app and API automation test scripts.
• Database Skills: SQL database testing experience.
• API Testing: Proficient in Postman.
• Test Methodologies: Understands QA practices.
• Automation Frameworks: Familiar with BDD frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
• Scripting and Debugging: Experienced in debugging and defect reporting.
• Privacy and Security: Incorporates privacy/security in tests.
