Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a motivated Markets Growth Senior Manager to join our Regional Markets Growth team. As a group lead, you will help identify growth priorities for your markets through data-driven insights and collaborate with teams to accomplish growth plans.
Your rigorous logic will be foundational as you navigate market research, trend analysis and performance metrics to fine-tune growth plans. Embracing an 'always day one' mindset is critical as we adapt and innovate to remain at the forefront of growth. Performing as an Individual Contributor, you will be reporting to the Regional Head of Markets Growth, you will work onsite in our Jakarta Office
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Strategic Planning: Use market performance metrics, local insights and user research to identify main gaps and opportunities in user growth for your markets. Build insights across countries within the group, guiding the team on priorities and action plans required.
- Stakeholder management: Communicate with country teams and regional teams. Influence main leaders in both country and regional teams on growth strategic plans, ensuring consideration of local business nuances. Collaborate with teams to prioritize interventions and design growth plans to achieve country targets.
- Execution Excellence: Lead the prioritization and conceptualization of new growth experiments, driving it to full implementation with teams. Ensure understanding on priorities, success metrics, timelines and resource allocation. Bring post-mortem analysis to fine-tune / scale experiments.
- Performance monitoring: Monitor main growth indicators to assess health across the consumer funnel. Drive root cause analysis to pinpoint challenges and iteratively refine growth plans to achieve outcomes.
- Continuous Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within your team. Encourage creative thinking and risk-taking to achieve creative growth solutions.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 8 years of experience in strategy development/ growth marketing / product management or related roles, preferably in a tech company or startup environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to inspire and engage senior leaders across multiple teams by promoting trust-based relationships and using data-driven insights to secure support for initiatives.
- Act as an owner and is able to critically think about what is required to achieve growth. Structure and address ambiguous problems, develop data-driven perspectives on main growth priorities across multiple countries, and advocate for critical initiatives
- Thrive in evolving environments., adapting to rapid changes and shifts in direction. Motivated to seek opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Experience in supervising a small team, with demonstrated ability to guide team members in strategic direction and helping them to prioritize tasks.
