Get to Know the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Software Engineer, Mobile (Android) to join our dynamic team in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be reporting to the Manager and the role will be onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Design and develop robust, scalable Android applications using Java and Kotlin
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Implement clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices and design patterns
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle data persistence in mobile applications
• Optimize application performance, battery usage, and data consumption
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
• In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android app lifecycle
• Strong experience working with RESTful APIs and parsing JSON data
• Expertise in mobile app architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks for Android
• Solid understanding of Material Design principles
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Passion for creating high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications
