GrabFood is the fastest growing startup within Grab and is growing rapidly towards becoming the region's #1 provider of food delivery services, conquering a trillion dollar market in the most exciting region in the world.
Get to Know the Role:
Manage a portfolio of key restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue. You will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with merchants to drive growth for GrabFood. You will lead elements of business identification, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy.
You will report to the Southern Region Market Growth, Manager and working onsite in Melaka.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue
- Liaise with merchants for merchants funded promo program, merchant commission scheme, new products/features
- Identify bottlenecks and potential issues related to merchant operations and the content management process, and deliver solutions to these issues
- Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Analyze data and develop plans to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio and make decisions that builds operational performance for your accounts
- Drive growth of key accounts, measured by deliveries and GMV
- Work across functions to tailor merchant specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations)
- Deliver business improvement projects to create value for both merchants and GrabFood
- Drive operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree in any field or a Diploma in Business/ Management or equivalent
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships or equivalent role
- Experience in F&B industry
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, speak in other dialects such as Mandarin.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
- Fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
- Have a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment
- Experience maintaining clean records of sales outreach and contacts in a CRM and communicate well
- You must be a self-starter as we'll look for you to experience balancing multiple sales opportunities
- Independent and excellent team-working skills
