Get to Know the Role

Sourcing and Supplier Management

• You will identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet the company’s retail needs.
• You will develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• You will negotiate terms and contracts to secure the best possible prices and terms.
• You will monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.

Inventory Management

• You will work closely with the inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels.
• You will monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• You will coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
• You will analyze sales trends to forecast demand and adjust purchasing plans accordingly.

Cost Optimization

• You will identify opportunities for cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
• You will develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
• You will monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies to take advantage of favorable conditions.

Compliance and Risk Management

• You will ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• You will manage procurement risks, including supplier reliability and market fluctuations.
• You will conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication

• You will collaborate with various departments to align procurement with business needs.
• You will communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• You will provide regular updates to senior management on procurement activities and performance.

Reporting and Analysis

• You will prepare and present reports on procurement performance, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
• You will analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• You will utilize procurement software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Special Project Management

• You will coordinate the execution of ad campaigns from start to finish, ensuring that all ad placements are accurate and timely.
• You will work with the ad operations team to monitor the delivery and performance of campaigns, addressing any issues that arise.
• You will provide clients with reports on campaign performance and assist in identifying areas for optimization.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
