This role sits within the Merchant Operational team in GrabFood Kalimantan. It is an established team responsible for leading crucial projects and initiatives that impact the lives of our partners in Kalimantan. Our team is made up of different functions focusing on Merchants and Engagement. Get to know the Role

Part of the core GrabFood Kalimantan & ROI (Rest of Indonesia) Team. Support the City General Manager and Merchant Operations team to improve the Grab merchant experience from identifying merchants' pain points, developing training materials and initiatives to improve merchant activation and engagement online and offline.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

  • Merchant Operations Leadership: Lead the Merchant Operations team to provide a world-class experience for merchants.
  • Process and Workflow Development: Build excellent processes and workflows to improve merchant engagement and experience.
  • Merchant Community Management: Manage and ensure smooth running of merchant community operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to assist in SMB merchant incubation and support.
  • Project Management: Oversee project management and reporting.
  • Merchant Education: Educate and train Grab merchant-partners about the latest product features through clear and engaging communication plans and webinars.
  • Event Organization: Lead the team in organizing offline events, gatherings, and city-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

    What Essential Skills You Need:

    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree.
    • Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
    • Self-Driven and Organized: Self-driven individual with strong organizational skills. Ability to plan and execute complex tasks in a structured manner.
    • People Management and Communication Skills: Good people management skills and enjoys working and collaborating with teams. Good communication and public speaking skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Data-Driven Approach: Ability to process and translate data into insights that will be used to address merchant pain points and improve the overall merchant experience.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Ms Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Location and Travel Flexibility: Placement in Balikpapan and flexibility to travel around cities in Kalimantan.
