Get to Know the Role
As a part of the GrabFood Merchant Strategy team, you will drive national merchant selection growth through strategic project management, P&L oversight, and O2O foodie marketing campaigns. You'll collaborate with marketing, demand planning, and city operations teams to create a unified go-to-market strategy for assigned projects, based on data insights and on-ground realities. The projects will range from area-specific to nationwide initiatives.

The GrabFood Merchant Strategy team spearheads the national merchant selection growth through strategic project management, overseeing P&L, and executing O2O foodie marketing campaigns. We work across various departments, including marketing, demand planning, and city operations, to create a unified approach that is both data-driven and rooted in on-the-ground insights. Our projects span from local to nationwide initiatives, aiming to elevate GrabFood’s market presence.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
You will:
- Analyze Data: Extract live data to discover insights and identify growth opportunities. Share findings to inform team and leadership decisions.
- Strategize: Provide actionable business insights, vision, and recommendations to business teams.
- Execute Projects: Develop and implement high-level projects in collaboration with internal and regional teams to drive significant impact.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with marketing, demand planning, and city operations to align go-to-market strategies with overall business goals.
- Manage Stakeholders: Ensure effective communication and alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
What Skills You will Need
You will need:
- Experience in extracting and analyzing data to uncover insights and guide decisions.
- Ability to develop strategic recommendations and actionable plans based on data insights.
- Strong project management skills to execute high-impact projects.
- Ability to collaborate across various functions to achieve unified business strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- 2-4 years of experience in management consultancy, tech companies, or fast-paced environments in strategy or project management.
- A passion for the F&B industry, with knowledge spanning from street food to premium dining, and familiarity with both Bangkok and upcountry markets.
- Proficiency in extracting key insights from raw data for team recommendations.
- Strong conceptual thinking to solve complex problems and turn questions into actionable plans.
- Energy, flexibility, and passion to excel in a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to work independently.
