Get to Know the Role

As an Assistant Manager Key Account Manager for Omnicommerce, you will build and manage strong relationships with merchant partners to drive growth for Omnicommerce products and other Grab verticals. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the success of merchant partners through consistent and top-tier support. You will play a crucial role in acquiring merchants for our omni-commerce products, including dine-in deals and loyalty as a service.

You will be part of the Omnicommerce team and support all activities tied to merchant acquisition, engagement, and operations. You will also assist in driving merchant growth through deal negotiation and optimizing their presence on the Grab platform.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform

  • You will oversee all operational activities involved in end-to-end deal making and closing with multiple merchant/restaurant partners.
  • You will increase the success of existing merchants by aligning with the OKRs of both partners and Grab.
  • You will take a data-driven approach to estimate ROI and KPI analysis for each partner to grow basket size, increase volumes, and cultivate loyal customers.
  • You will monitor feedback from partner merchants, drawing insights and translating these into actionable activities for other team functions.
  • You will collaborate with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure merchants have the best possible experience on the Grab platform.
  • You will develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services offered by the Grab platform.
  • You will stay updated on market trends and industry changes to revise and develop strategies that meet market demands and merchant requirements.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years in sales/account management, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Experience in merchant-facing tech, F&B, FMCG, or similar industries is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience working in teams and leading initiatives/projects.
  • Excellent presentation design, and speaking skills, with the ability to clearly articulate points verbally and visually in English.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and calm even in dynamic, fast-paced working conditions.
