Get to Know the Team

The Deliveries team is a vibrant and dynamic team responsible for the growth of the GrabFood and GrabMart businesses. We make an impact by enabling more earning opportunities for tens of thousands of merchant- and delivery-partners in Myanmar. The Deliveries team is made up of over 30 Grabbers distributed across 3 functions: merchant acquisition, account management, and merchant operations. Get to Know the Role

Reporting to the Head of Deliveries, the role focuses on merchant acquisition and improving the onboarding experience. You will balance strategy, operations, stakeholder management, and team leadership. This role is essential for expanding our merchant base and ensuring a seamless onboarding process. Your contributions will significantly impact our business growth, and you will work cross-functionally to develop professionally.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will identify and implement initiatives to drive merchant onboarding and for GrabFood & GrabMart, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • You will oversee the merchant onboarding process, ensuring effective activation for all merchant partners.
  • You will manage end-to-end acquisition and onboarding of merchant partners, from lead generation to activation, and facilitating their first order.
  • You will develop strategic partnerships with key potential merchants, as well as design and set up monetization opportunities for new merchants via advertisement partnerships.
  • You will streamline self-serve opportunities for merchant onboarding, adapting them to Grab’s application ecosystem.
  • You will support the department’s strategic goals: improving transacting merchant count, increasing usage of self-serve tools, and boosting advertisement take-up.
  • You will conduct business analytics to solve issues and optimize the merchant onboarding flow, and monitor historical performance, provide actionable feedback, and collaborate with relevant teams for business improvement.

Qualifications

What Skills You Will Need

  • You have 1-3 years of work experience, in a similar role preferably in a relevant field such as sales or business development.
  • You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and Burmese to work with internal teams and manage relationships with external partners and agents in other cities.
  • You have strong project management skills to implement onboarding initiatives and streamline processes, and strategic thinking ability to develop and manage partnerships and set up monetization opportunities.
  • You have analytical skills to drive business analytics and optimize onboarding flows.
  • You have prior experience in managing sales teams, and possess leadership skills for guiding and supporting the team to achieve strategic goals.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
