Job Description
Get to know the role:
• You will be a part of the GrabFood Merchant Strategy team which drives Grabfood's national merchant selection growth via strategic projects PMO, P&L management as well as O2O foodie marketing campaign
• You will be working together with the marketing, demand planning, and city operations team to create the unified go-to market strategy for your assigned projects based on insights from data & on-ground truth. The projects can be both area-specific and nationwide.
The day-to-day activities
• Analytics: Extract live data to unearth insights and identify opportunities to grow the business. Learn and share findings with peers and leaders.
• Strategy: Deliver valuable business insights, vision, and recommendations to business teams to act upon.
• Execution: Develop and execute high-level projects collaborating with both internal and regional teams to create impact and take Grabfood to the next level.
Qualifications
The must-haves
• PASSION in F&B industry; from street food to casual café & restaurant to premium food to social sellers; from Bangkok to upcountry markets
• 2-4 years of experience at management consultancy firm, tech company, or fast-paced working environment in strategy or project management.
• Strong conceptual thinking: Able to ask structured questions to solve complicated problems. Turn questions into insightful answers and solid working plans.
• Flexibility, passion, and energy to excel in a fast-paced team environment, while also being able to work independently.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, communications, and presentation skills are required.
• Data analytics: Able to extract key insights from raw data and build up recommendations for the team.
