Job Description
About the Team:
The OTC team is an established team responsible for B2B end to end processes and operations including Customer & Vendor Data Management, Credit Management & Invoicing, Collection & Cash Applications across 8 countries in Southeast Asia. We make an impact by enhancing Grab cash flow, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. About the Role:
This role involves managing and optimising reporting processes, overseeing project management, and enhancing process efficiencies as a member of the Order to Cash (OTC) team. You will play a significant role in refining operations and augmenting team reporting capabilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing internal tools such as AI-powered solutions, BI-driven dashboards, and reporting mechanisms. By joining the Order to Cash team, you will be presented with a unique professional growth opportunity as the team embarks on an expansive journey into the receivables collection framework. This encompasses system reporting and processes across all ASEAN nations where Grab has a presence.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
Data Management and Reporting:
- Oversee various types of team reports to ensure up-to-date data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain BI-driven dashboards to provide actionable insights for the team.
- Ensure the timely and accurate compilation of regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management.
Process Optimisation:
- Identify and evaluate areas within the team that could benefit from automation to increase efficiency.
- Propose and implement automation solutions, thereby reducing manual workload and streamlining processes.
- Keep the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) updated regularly.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Assist in team projects or undertake ad-hoc assignments, contributing significantly towards team goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Leadership and Support:
- Act as an independent backup support for the Team Lead, providing continuity, support, and backup for the Team Lead when necessary.
- Contribute towards attaining the team's established key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
The Must-Haves:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in finance, particularly in Order-To-Cash processes. Familiarity with billing and dispute resolution is necessary.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Power BI for managing dashboards and compiling reports. Knowledge about other report generation and data management tools would be advantageous.
- Operational Knowledge: Experience with maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify areas of business process improvement and be able to propose and implement automation solutions.
- Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Should be capable of providing backup support to the Team Lead when required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective dispute resolution, report generation, and maintaining internal communication channels.
- Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects, and contribute significantly to team goals.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organization and time management skills to handle ad-hoc assignments and regular tasks efficiently.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required.
