Get to know the team

The Deliveries team is a vibrant and dynamic team responsible for the growth of the GrabFood and GrabMart businesses. We make an impact by enabling more earning opportunities for tens of thousands of merchant- and delivery-partners in Myanmar. The Deliveries team is made up of over 30 Grabbers distributed across 3 functions: merchant acquisition, account management, and merchant operations. Get to know the role

This role reports to the Head of Deliveries and is responsible for merchant acquisition and improving merchant experience and driving deliveries business on the platform. We believe a successful candidate has strong strategic, operational, team leadership, sales and account management skills. This role is crucial to drive revenue growth and achieve our business objectives. In return, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to our business growth, work with cross-functional teams, and further develop your professional skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • You will Identify, develop, and implement opportunities to improve merchant experience and financial performance on the platform in line with the company's business objectives.

  • You will oversee the execution of the commercial team's initiatives, including partnerships, product launches, and marketing campaigns.

  • You will lead and inspire the commercial team responsible for commercial operations, sales, business development and partnerships.

  • You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence to drive performance and achieve targets.

  • You will collaborate with various departments to align the commercial team’s initiatives with company goals, driving cross-functional projects for efficiency.

  • You will define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking the commercial team’s success, including revenue growth, partnership acquisition, customer engagement, and market share expansion.

  • You will regularly analyze performance data for actionable insights and continuous improvement.

  • You will drive revenue growth by identifying monetization opportunities such as advertising and partnerships, leveraging market trends and consumer behavior data.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

  • You have Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility.

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

  • You have 1-3 years of work experience, in a similar role preferably in a relevant field such as e-commerce or consumer tech.

  • You have a good command of written and spoken English and Burmese.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence partners.

  • You showcase Salesforce & Basic MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Power BI is a plus.

  • You are knowledgeable of good communication skills, comfortable working with internal and external teams.

  • You have an ability to deliver outstanding results in a challenging and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

The Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in the food delivery or e-commerce industry would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of local merchant landscape and trends would be beneficial.
