Grabber Technology Services (GTS) aims to be a technology leader that provides predictive and seamless experiences to all Grab employees (Grabbers). We are a diverse team of technology practitioners looking to out-serve Grabbers with positive, personalised IT experiences. Get to know the role
Position Summary: As a Senior Program Manager within the Value Management Office (VMO), you will report to the Program Delivery Manager as part of the CPeO organisation. CPeO's mission is to provide strategic business partnerships, demand planning, program/project management, budgeting, and regional P/L management across various Grab departments and teams.
Your roles will include
- Interconnected Project Management: Formulate, organise and monitor multiple interconnected projects, ensuring they progress smoothly and deliver the desired results within stipulated timelines.
- Budget and Operation Planning: Develop and maintain an overall budget and operating plan for the program, ensuring financial prudence and optimal resource allocation.
- Risk Management: Apply robust change, risk and resource management principles to facilitate steady progression throughout the program lifecycle.
- Program Governance: Establish and maintain appropriate program governance to mitigate risks associated with time and cost overruns, ensuring fulfilment of the program’s objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Value Contribution: Adopt a comprehensive view of how your programs contribute to Grab's overall value, whether through revenue generation, cost reduction, or risk avoidance.
- Leadership: Exhibit leadership within your team, provide guidance on technical and business issues, and champion professional growth and development.
- Best Practice Advancement: Share best practices within Grab's PMO functions, establishing yourself as a trusted expert in program and project management methodologies.
- Vision & Judgement: Show excellent vision and judgement in balancing short-term needs and long-term benefits, both technically and business-wise.
- Growth Mindset: Adopt a growth mindset, be open to feedback and relentlessly pursue self-improvement and team advancement.
- Process Improvement: Show initiative in improving GTS's ability to deliver large, cross-functional programs and projects. Drive best practices and set standards within VMO, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conflict Resolution: Practise professional and constructive dialogue in situations of disagreement, always seeking resolution that aligns with the company's objectives.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership, and ensure thorough and correct project documentation, reviews, and approvals.
- Qualities: You are required to demonstrate a self-critical attitude, openness to growth, and a forward-thinking mindset. Your resilience and commitment to improvement must be a guiding light in fostering an environment of progress and development within and beyond GTS.
Qualifications
The Must-Haves
- Undergraduate Degree (ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting but others + professional accounting qualifications also acceptable)
- Experience working in finance cross-functions (accounting, operations, treasury, FP&A, financial systems, etc.)
- Proven experience managing finance transformation projects, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management roles.
- Must possess high-level functional knowledge of Oracle ERP, EPM, ARCS or FCCS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)applications, Management reporting applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle communications to management, detail oriented and analytical.
- Experience working in a dynamic fast moving environment where autonomy and self-decision making is needed, able to analyse situations and create structure out of ambiguity.
- Demonstrates ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure independently
- Demonstrates the ability to work closely with the project team to find appropriate solutions, and proactively set up action plans to anticipate on complex problematics
The Should-Haves
- PMP or Prince Certification
- ITIL Certification (ITIL v3, ITIL v4, ITIL v5)
- Knowledge of tools such as SmartSheets, Wiki, Google Suite
